Glacier Caves » Ice Wave

This small, closet sized ice cave may be my favorite of all time. Its walls were illuminated by indirect sunlight reflected near the entrance. While the ice itself looks jagged it was perfectly smooth to the touch and must have been ten feet thick in areas. The darker spots are thickest and the teal colored areas are where the sun was able to penetrate a little more. The white lines are pressure cracks formed durring its journey down hill.
