Arctic Tern (Sterna paradisaea)

You can always find Terns, Gulls, and other pelagic birds at the foot of tide water glaciers. As the glaciers melt and calve off huge chunks of ice into the salt water below, the splash causes an upwelling of benthic organisms that birds and other marine animals feed on.
